These are images of the interior of the Duomo of Como. Shooting inside most cathedrals is difficult because they are normally very dark except where there are windows then they are very bright. The trick is knowing how to balance a range of exposures. With the exception of the first 2 and the last one, the other images are a "Selective Merging" of 3-5 different exposures of the same image. Exposing for the bright windows, the mid tones and the extreme shadows allows one to see the range in one finished photo.

Shot with a Canon Professional Digital Camera & a Canon lenses set in RAW mode & processed in Photoshop.
