DRATS! Premiere Pro Missing an Audio Track
This is a vexing problem but fortunately not hard to fix.

Here is the problem. You have spent X amount of time and suddenly you loose all or part of your audio. It was there but when you re-opened it the audio has vanashed. All you need to do is change a few things and your audio will return to where it belongs.

Click on the track missing the audio, then right click on it and choose "Audio Channels" (it is in the lower two thirds of the popup menu). Change the right to left or vice versa. Then click OK. Then right click on the track again, choose "Audio Channels"and change the settings back to the original setting and click OK.

You are done.
